Reform my arse
In a previous post about the Gorton and Denton by-election I wrote about how the right-wing, Trump aligned Reform Party Ltd. were roundly defeated by the Green Party and immediately cried wolf about the results, blaming what they called "Family Voting".
Family Voting is basically an Islamophobic right wing dog whistle. The concept - which had never really popped up in political debate previously - is that Muslim men march their families down to the polling station and then enter the booth with each family member and force them to vote their way.
Reform's position was they would have walked the election if it weren't for those pesky, lefty, Green voting Muslim Patriarchs and their hold over their right wing, Reform voting wives and children.
They based this on the reports of a group of hitherto unheard-of "independent" electoral observers who claimed to have seen this happen in numerous polling stations across the area.
Greater Manchester Police were therefore compelled to investigate this possible widespread electoral fraud as a matter of course, in order (no doubt) to protect Democracy and ensure a democratic vote had indeed taken place.
Greater Manchester Police concluded their investigation and found no evidence of Family Voting. It's interesting to read the police report that is reproduced in full in that linked article. How the "observers" failed to identify anyone entering booths with family members, how they were unable to supply a time for those incidents that they allegedly saw, even CCTV footage - which shouldn't legally be in polling stations as a matter of course - didn't provide any evidence.
We have seized and viewed CCTV from three of the remaining four polling stations. These are three polling station that Democracy Volunteers visited. We have spoken to the Presiding Officer from each one.
However, these stations do not show any evidence of anyone directing or coercing another regarding how to vote – the crucial part of the legislation to prove such an offence was committed.
Basically GMP found no evidence they could use to convict anyone because, and stay with me here, maybe Family Voting didn't actually happen and it was all just Trumpian "Stolen Election" bullshit whining by a bunch of fascist dickheads who thought they could just parachute some rich businessman into a constituency and buy their way to victory.
In our local elections earlier this year I found it interesting how the only party to knock on doors was The Green Party. Labour, Conservative and Lib Dems all put a leaflet through the door. Reform, however, sent a letter through the post addressed to me. The top quarter of the letter was taken up with a full colour photograph of Nigel Farage against a Union flag background. THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO SEND THE ACTUAL CANDIDATE AROUND THE WARD THEY WOULD BE REPRESENTING relying instead of the cunt of personality (and I spelled it that way deliberately) of their head cunt-in-chief and his full colour letterhead portrait.
Reform want to reform Britain like Trump is reforming the US. Weakening it, impoverishing it, destroying its credibility whilst lining the pockets of its elite at the expense of the actual fabric of the country.
They're the absolute worst pieces of shit and this Family Voting debacle has just exposed how desperate, unpleasant and dirty they really are.
